'Destiny': new update rolls out with Crota's End raid fixes, Player playlist and more

"Destiny's" developer Bungie rolled out a new update today, which includes Crota's End Raid adjustments, along with weapon tweaks, a new Player vs. Player playlist and several other goodies for the first-person shooter title. In addition, Crota's End Raid received fixes across all Encounters, which includes the Crota Encounter where the boss will now be able to recover from his kneeling state after a player quits. 

Given below are the remainder of the details that have been included in the update.

Activity rewards 

  • Update fixes an issue with Ascendant Materials; they will no longer be a possible reward for Daily gold-tier public events 
  • Weekly Nightfall will now award nine or more Strange Coins 

Given below are the Player vs. Player Maps that have been added 

  • The Anomaly 
  • Asylum 
  • The Burning Shrine 

Iron Banner 

  • Level 32 Sniper Rifle 
  • Level 32 Auto Rifle 
  • Gain event standing to earn Legendary gear 
  • Level 32 Hand Cannon 
  • Level 32 Rocket Launcher 
  • Level 32 Gauntlets 
  • Level 31 Chest 

Weapons updates 

  • The update has modified the perks on the Sniper Rifle, Black Hammer, and the Hive Breaker 

Raids Vault of Glass 

  • Exotic weapon drops have now been bumped up to Level 32 

In addition, the update has also fixed a bug that allowed players to remove the "Presence of Crota" using a Radiance Warlock's Fireborn ability. That is not all that the update is able to fix. Bungie also revealed that Hard Mode for "Destiny's" Crota's End Raid is currently going through the final phases of development and is expected to launch sometime this month. 

Furthermore, there is a rumor that Bungie will release the "House of Wolves" expansion for "Destiny" very soon. It is expected that the expansion pack will possess three new Story Missions, two new Strikes and one new Raid titled "The Arena."
