Sidharth Mallya is part of
Q's next is not news anymore.Though details of this international production, which has both an Indian and a British team working on it, has been neatly kept under the wraps, Sid son of
Vijay Mallya will play the prime adversary of the film's lead, played by
Shashank Arora.
While the English film,
B Naman, will see Shashank essay the title role, Sid is playing Ronnie, his archrival.
Shashank was first seen in a character role in the indie film
Myoho. He next played the lead in
Kanu Behl's
Titli, which was part of the Official Selection, Un Certain Regard, at the Cannes International Film Festival (2014). Sid, on his part, is making his debut with this movie, based on the lives of quizzers in the '80s.
Q, who shot for three weeks in Bangalore, where the film is based, has tent up in the outskirts of Kolkata for the past seven days.
B Naman is a comedy and Q's first attempt in the genre. The director, who is known for films like
Gandu and
Tasher Desh, said, The shooting is on the verge of completion. Both Shashank and Sid have done their best and look the parts." Here are the first look pictures...
