The Thudiyalur police registered a case against Mohammed of Subramani Layout for selling the bike of his son Palmajulla (20) without his knowledge. The two lived separately due to a family dispute. In his complaint, Palmajulla alleged that his father assaulted him with an iron rod when he questioned him about selling the bike. Mohammed was booked under Sections 324 (causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 294B (using foul language) and 506(ii) criminal intimidation of the Indian Penal Code.
