Marking the 53{+r}{+d}Founder’s Day of Sainik School, Korukonda, Civil Aviation Minister P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju on Sunday unveiled the bronze statue of the first Principal Cdr T de Almeida. Mr. Raju also released a special magazine on the occasion and Post Master General Saradha Sampath a Special Day Cover in memory of the first Principal.The Minister said education should be imparted with humane values and should make students responsible citizens.
The gathering remembered Cdr. Almeida for his pioneering work and vision.
