Khandwa police have booked a primary school teacher on Sunday for allegedly sexually abusing a class V student for more than a year.

INDORE: Khandwa police have booked a primary school teacher on Sunday for allegedly sexually abusing a class V student for more than a year. Moghat Road police of Khandwa district have booked a case under IPC section 377 and Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). The accused teacher is on run.
Rajesh Sadh (50), a teacher posted at Government Primary School, Rehmapura, allegedly was abusing the kid and threatened him of dire consequences if tell anyone of the incident.
Few school kids have also seen the teacher forcing the kid to indulge in sexual acts on last Tuesday.
In charge, Moghat police station, Ravindra Yadav speaking to ToI over phone said, “After sexually assaulting the minor, he threatened the child and told him not to tell anyone of the incident. He was abusing the kid for more than a year. Few eyewitnesses have also witnessed the teacher indulging into obscene acts. Statements of kids have been registered. We have launched search for the accused teacher.”
Khandwa police are also investigating whether the accused teacher involved other school-going kids into sexual acts. The incident came into light when parents asked repeatedly about the cause for his behaviour and refraining from going to school. On Sunday, the child told his parents that the teacher had been sexually abusing him.
