Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu went into a didactic mode and emphasised happiness as being more important than wealth.

Taking a detour from his favourite topics of IT and development, Mr. Naidu said that preserving family system and values would ensure that India would be the happiest country in the world.

“Our family system is the greatest in the whole world. Preserving it is more important than creating wealth,” he preached, at a book release event here on Saturday.

He had a caution for youth too when he said that wealth brought vices, and they should be educated about this through books.

Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya spoke about the book ‘Idam Koutilyam’ by K. Narasimha Murthy, and said Kautilya had explained the fundamentals of politics in 350 BC itself.

Narendra Modi’s government follows Koutilya’s thoughts towards offering reliable and just governance, Mr.Dattatreya said.
