25 bitten by stray dogs in Kollam

: At least 25 persons, including a two-year-old girl, were bitten by a pack of three stray dogs in Kollam on Saturday. One of the stray dogs was chased and killed by a group of local people. The incident occurred shortly before noon at Punthalathazham Nagar in the city and the adjoining Decent Junction area. The two-year-old girl, Nadika, was sitting with her twin sister on the veranda of her house when the dogs attacked her.

Amal, 7, and Rukmani, 75, were also bitten by the dogs. In one incident, the dogs entered a house and bit 13-year-old Unnimaya. The police said 5 migrant workers were among the victims.
