The Excise Enforcement and Anti-Narcotics Special Squad seized 180 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a house at Mullaria in Karadukka panchayat on Saturday.

On a tip-off received by Kasaragod Excise Deputy Commissioner V.V. Surendran, Excise sleuths raided the house and seized 396 bottles of liquor, Excise sources here said.

Cases have been registered against M. Binu, hailing from Adoor village, and Manoharan, a resident of Mullaria, in connection with the seizure.

The stock was meant for sale at Kasaragod, the sources said.
