Bayern Munich Manager Pep Guardiola hopes that Iran could win Asian Cup 2015 title.
“No doubt that Carlos Queiroz is a well-known figure and his presence will prove useful for you. I wish you success and I hope Iranian national team will be winner of Asian Cup with Queiroz,” Guardiola told ISNA.
Iran has made it two wins out of two games in the AFC Asian Cup 2015.
Iran overpowered Qatar 1-0 in its second game of the competition Thursday in a hard-fought match in Sydney.
Iran defeated Bahrain 2-0 in AFC Cup opening match last Sunday.
The country is viewed as a favorite to win the games along with teams like Australia, Japan and South Korea.
The AFC Asian Cup will run until January 31.
