Speaking at a workshop for young lawyers on Saturday, Supreme Court Justice Dipak Misra said asking for adjournments was a “disorder” and said lawyers should come prepared with arguments for cases and avoid seeking adjournments.
The remarks were delivered at the inaugural function of a five-day workshop on the practical aspects of litigation, organised by the Bar Council of Delhi for lawyers with under three years of experience in litigation.
The workshop will have sessions on procedural law, practical aspects of litigation, legal ethics and best practices.
