According to a Pinkvilla.com report, Rhea Pillai has claimed that the allegations made by her former partner, Leander Paes are all false and baseless. She has also accused him of slander alleging that he has misused his public status to garner attention. She explains her allegations by claiming that Leander is resorting to underhand tactics to malign her name publicly, without any proof to back his claims. She has been quoted in the report as saying that she has refrained from making any allegation in the media as she wants to protect their daughter from the pain. she also rues the fact that Leander doesn't realise the fact that no child should be subjected to such public humiliation as it has a deep, negative impact on the child.
