Murugan and his wife Valliammal of Seelapandhal in Tiruvannamalai were killed, while their three children were injured when a bus proceeding from Villupuram to Tirupathi hit the 2-wheeler in which they were travelling on Thursday morning.
According to the police, Murugan and his family were proceeding from Seelapandhal to Tiruvannamalai when the accident occurred. Valliammal died on the spot while Murugan died later at the Tiruvannamalai Medical College Hospital. Their children, Rahul (13), Rajesh (9) and Ranjitha (7) have been admitted to the hospital.
