JAIPUR: The Rajasthan University on Friday signed an MoU with Haridev Joshi University of Mass Communication and Journalism (HJUMC) for sharing faculty members and infrastructure.
RU's administrative secretary to the V-C and CPRO of the university, Bhupendra Singh, said, "This MoU will create a world-class journalism institute in Jaipur. The HJUMC will pay a specific amount on a monthly basis to RU for using its facilities."
With the signing of the MoU, students from both the universities will be benefited as RU's centre for mass communication has only one teacher while the HJUMC has over eight experienced faculty members.

HJUJMC has experienced faculty in both electronic and print meda running in a makeshift campus at Jagatpura; hence, both the institutes can complement each other for the benefit of the students. Shekawat was also made the coordinator for resolving issues and accessing new proposals between the two universities.
