The Indian ethnicwear brand Triveni showcased its latest collection of womenswear at the just held 13th edition of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2015 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The 29-year-old company also unveiled its new spring season saree range titled Kesariya, which included several stylish, printed sarees as well as cocktail and partywear special half-half printed and lace work saree lines.
While addressing the event, Arvind Saraf, the director of the Gujarat-based clothier, said, “The primary objective of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Triveni overlap in their attempt to spread the Indian flavour across the globe. We were also at GOPIO (Global Organization of People of Indian Origin) conference in Ahmedabad on Jan 10th. We met many Pravasi delegates & NRIs at both the events, and they loved our collection for our colors, designs, prices, worldwide reach – and our larger efforts to make sarees & ethnicwear global.”
Suraya Premchand, a member of Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), Netherlands chapter, added, “Triveni is amongst the only ethnic brand showcasing at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, and we love their collection. As an artist & an entrepreneur, I look forward to partnering with taking the wonderful Indian fabrics & prints to Europe.”
Ravi Verma, a research associate at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), also spoke about the brand’s participation at the event, “It was good to have Triveni bring in an additional element of Indian ethnic wear amongst the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas exhibitors.”
The collections showcased at the soiree will be exclusively available for purchase thorugh the company's website since Jan 19th, 2015.
Started in 1985, Triveni operates through a network of more than 80 wholesale counters and over 100 wholesalers. The firm’s lines of sarees, lehenga cholis and other apparels are available in all the major web-portals and retailers in India and abroad. (PB)
