AEGEAN, Greece's largest airline and a Star Alliance member,  is to launch a new direct route from the UK to Larnaca, Cyprus and Heraklion, Crete. The flights to Larnaca will depart from Heathrow airport daily as of March 29th, 2015 while the flights to Heraklion will be departing from Gatwick airport as of June 21st, 2015 with up to 6 flights a week.  AEGEAN  will also renew their its summer flight schedule to Athens from Birmingham airport and the once seasonal flights from Manchester Airport to Athens Airport are now an "all year" round service.

The flights will be performed with one of the youngest fleets in Europe, comprising 56 aircraft, after AEGEAN´s recent investment in new additional Airbus A320ceos. The company´s new timetable includes a network of 134 destinations, 100 international in 42 countries and 34 domestic, with 15,000,000 available seats.  Two million more seats than in 2014.

AEGEAN offers both economy and business class travel from the UK to Larnaca and Heraklion and from Heathrow and Gatwick airports respectively. AEGEAN passengers will receive complimentary on board food and drink so their holiday begins when they step on board.
