Actor, singer and now producer, Priyanka Chopra has dabbled in music and is also making her debut in a show she signed with ABC. The actress is also going to work behind the camera. We weren’t surprised to find out that Priyanka will invest her money in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Madamji, in which she stars too. And we’re sure she knows what a producer goes through. Anushka Sharma

Within 6 years, with barely having done a dozen films, Anushka Sharma has turned producer. And not just that, she’s taken the brave step of investing her money in an offbeat film. The actress will star in and co-produce NH10, which is directed by Navdeep Singh and will release this year. With so much working in her favour, we know the actress will nail that part too. The first film Dia produced was Love Breakups Zindagi. The film didn’t do well at the box-office but she didn’t give up. Dia sprung back and made Bobby Jasoos starring Vidya Balan. The film created a buzz but did average business at the ticket window. Well, we just hope her next project works fine for this gorgeous lady.
Juhi Chawla

Her filmi journey took a halt in between but Juhi didn’t go missing from the limelight. The actress started her own production house titled Dreamz Unlimited with close friend, Shah Rukh Khan. The two produced several big movies together like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om. Later on they changed the name of their production from Dreamz Unlimited to Red Chilies Entertainment.
Shilpa Shetty
Production house: Essential Sports & Media Pvt Ltd
Post her Big Brother win Shilpa Shetty got hitched with businessman, Raj Kundra and the duo started a production house. They produced Dhishkiyaaon starring Harman Baweja. The actress has hinted that the next film she produces shall be a comedy.
Preity Zinta
Production house: PZNZ Media
After handling an IPL team, Preity Zinta decided to fund a film. She produced Ishkq In Paris, which was directed by Prem Raj. The film bombed at the box-office. Post Ishkq In Paris, Preity hasn’t taken up any film. Production might’ve not worked well for the actress but her IPL team is playing well.
Lara Dutta
Production house: Bheegi Basanti Productions
After winning the coveted and prestigious ‘Miss Universe’ crown, Lara made a successful debut in Bollywood and won many hearts. Post that, she decided to take a leap of faith and turn producer. Lara has only produced one film, Chalo Dilli starring herself and Vinay Pathak. Buzz is that she is planning a sequel to the film too titled Chalo China.
Ameesha Patel

She came, she succeeded and she withered away. Back to back flops and controversies were the reasons why Ameesha kept away from the industry. Soon she returned and turned produced with Desi Magic starring Zayed Khan and Sahil Shroff. The film is yet to hit the screens.
