Hyderabad: Four people have been arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl repeatedly for four months in a businessman’s house at Jubilee Hills and in a flat at Borabanda. The men had even filmed the victim while raping her and used those clips to blackmail her and continue exploiting her.
The 16-year-old victim, a native of Nellore, was working as a housemaid in the house of the businessman, who was not aware that she was being continually raped in his house. All the accused were workers in the same house at Jubilee Hills Road No. 44.
After the girl went missing from the house, the cops traced her following her father’s complaint. Police also arrested the four suspects – M. Sudheer, 30, a driver from Borabanda, B. Srinivasulu , 23, a servant from Rajendranagar, M. Sidda Ramulu, 29, a supervisor, and M. Shankar, a driver. The last two from Indira Nagar, Banjara Hills.
According to the police, Sidda Ramulu had raped the victim for the first time around four months ago when there was no one in the house. “Later, Srinivasulu overpowered her and raped her while she was sleeping. He started to threatened her saying that he had photographs of her being raped by Ramulu and he would show it to her family members and the house owner,” said Jubilee Hills inspector S. Venkat Reddy.
The other two accused came to know about the incident from the first two suspects. They then blackmailed her stating they knew the details of her sexual encounters with the other two men and they would defame her publicly. Both raped her repeatedly in the coming days.
“On December 22, Sudheer, who is married and has three children, promised her that he would marry her and took her to a place in Borabanda, and told the flat owner she was his wife,” said the inspector.
When the girl went missing from the businessman’s house, her father, lodged a missing complaint.
