Property dealer gunned down in Gurgaon

Police said Yadav parked his car at JMD Galleria mall on Sohna Road in Sector 48 and entered a bank. “After 15 minutes, he came out and walked to his car. As he was unlocking his car in the parking lot of the mall, the assailants fired at him,” a police officer said.

“The accused were on a motorcycle and had their faces covered,” Vijay Kumar, station house officer, Sadar police station, said.

A murder case was registered at Sadar police station. According to preliminary investigation, a property dispute could be the motive behind the murder, police said.

The police recovered one empty cartridge, three live cartridges and one countrymade pistol from the spot. Yadav belonged to Tiklion village. “He was into several businesses, including real estate and liquor. He had recently invested in a production house in the Millennium City,” a police officer said.

Woman found dead

New Delhi: A 35-year-old woman was found dead inside her house in Outer Delhi’s Narela on Tuesday.

The deceased, Suman Motwane, was alone at home. Her husband, who owns a garment shop, was away at the time.

Police suspect robbery to be the motive as the house was found to be ransacked. “The entry into the house appears friendly so it is possible that a known person is behind the murder,” a police officer said.
