Corus Entertainment Q1 Profit Declines Despite Higher Revenues - Quick Facts

Corus Entertainment Inc. (CJREF.PK,CJR_B.TO), a Canadian-based media and entertainment company, reported that its net income attributable to shareholders for the first quarter was C$51.91 million or C$0.60 per share, down from C$150.89 million or C$1.78 per share in the year-ago period.

Adjusted earnings per share for the quarter were C$0.60, compared to C$0.65 per share in the prior-year quarter.

However, consolidated revenues for quarter rose to $227.11 million from $226.01 million in the same period last year.
