Bombay Jayshri's classical extravaganza at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad

The open-air venue in Jubilee Hills had the perfect ambience for a classical concert — listening to the tabla, violin and veena under the skies, as trees glowed softly in the light of the tea candles hung from their branches, was a truly different experience. And when Bombay Jayashri sings, you have to listen. Clad in a pink-and-blue silk sari, the Oscar nominated singer enthralled all those present at the do, when she sang popular Carnatic songs like Vathapi Ganapathim Bhajeham, Sriman Narayana, Bhavayami Gopalabalam and others melodies.Those who attended the concert were seen thoroughly enjoying the show, as they sipped on the filter coffee served to them. A musical evening indeed!
