Van turns fire-ball on colliding with MUV in Indore, driver charred to death

A Maruti van turned into a ball of fire after colliding head on with a speeding MUV at the Luv Kush crossing on city's outskirts on Monday morning.

INDORE: A Maruti van turned into a ball of fire after colliding head on with a speeding MUV at the LuvKush crossing on city's outskirts on Monday morning.
The van driver 35-year-old Ram Prasad, who remained stuck in the burning vehicle after the accident was charred to death.
The accident took place at around 7.30 am just a short distance from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS).

The accident shook the area with a big blast suspected to have been triggered by an LPG cylinder kit installed in the ill fated van.
The rear side of the MUV too was slightly burnt in the accident, Banganga police sub inspector Raja Ram Malwi told TOI.
Further investigations are on and the MUV has been seized by police.
