Ritu's brace leads Ira International School to win

NAGPUR: A double strike by Ritu Biswas guided Ira International School to an easy 2-0 victory over Jaibai Chaudhary HS in the VHA Inter-School U-17 Girls Hockey tournament at the VHA ground here on Saturday.
Ritu found the mark in the second and 29th minutes to single-handedly lead Ira International School to win.
In another outing, St Ursula High School rallied back splendidly to down VT Convent 2-1.
VT Convent took the lead when Samiksha Mahakalkar converted the penalty corner in the 11th min. However, Malvika Tembhurne and Susna Nayak scored a goal each in a span of four mintues to seal the fate of VT Convent.
RESULTS
St Ursula High School 2 (Malvika Tembhurne 21st min, Susna Nayak 25th min) beat VT Convent 1 (Samiksha Mahakalkar 11th min, PC); Ira International School 2 (Ritu Biswas 2nd and 29th min, PC) beat Jaibai Chaudhary HS 0.
