Man hoists Pakistan flag, held

RAJKOT: A resident of Palitana town was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly hoisted Pakistan's national flag on his house's terrace. Akbar Tank resides in Talav area of the temple town. He was arrested by police and booked for promoting social disharmony.
Deputy superintendent of police J M Desai said some passersby spotted Pakistani flag on a residential building and informed the police about it."We seized the flag and arrested Akbar," said police. Akbar is a daily wager. Inspector M M Chauhan said that Akbar's uncle works as scrap dealer at Alang ship-breaking yard and he got this flag from him ahead of Eid. "Akbar's son hoisted it on the terrace. He is an illiterate person and has pleaded innocence,'' he said.
