The mediapersons at Sabarimala have felicitated the Sabarimala chief priest (Tantri), Kandararu Rajeevararu, who has completed 25 years of tantric duty at Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple on Saturday. Travancore Devaswom Board President M.P. Govindan Nair presented a memento to the Tantri on behalf of the media persons camping at the holy hillock since the beginning of the annual pilgrim season.
T.K. Rajappan of Malayala Manorama presented a Ponnada to the Tantri and Satheeshkumar of Deepika made the introductory speech at the function.
T.K. Pradeepkumar of Mathrubhumi delivered the vote of thanks.
The TDB chief lauded the devotion, dedication and commitment shown by Mr. Rajeevararu in his tantric duties.
