2 engineering students die in accident

Two engineering students going home from their college at Abdullahpurmet after writing examination died when their bike rammed into a lorry near Peddamberpet on National Highway-65 on Friday.

HYDERABAD: Two engineering students going home from their college at Abdullahpurmet after writing examination died when their bike rammed into a lorry near Peddamberpet on National Highway-65 on Friday.
Hayathnagar police said that the victims, J Krishna Teja and Bharat Chary, both aged 21 years, were final-year students of Brilliant Engineering College.
According to police, the lorry suddenly stopped in the middle of the road giving Krishna Teja, who was riding the bike, no time to avert the accident. The bike crashed into the rear side of the lorry resulting in the death of the two students with severe head injuries.
Krishna Teja was a resident of LB Nagar, while Bharat Chary was from Uppuguda. The lorry driver was taken into custody and a case was registered under section 304 A (rash and negligent driving) of IPC.
