“The only way to know our strength and weakness is through feedback of common citizen,” the DGP flanked by IGP Shukla, AIGP Tussar Taba and a host of senior cops said.

He said as all police work need specialisation there was a need for appropriate specialised training in each field of work including investigation, traffic control, security and riot control.

“Equally important is the use of technology in policing. Since the integrity of police force has always been questioned, it is of utmost importance that all police work is done with the use of modern technology. All procedures should be recorded in CCTV, audio visual tapes,” he said.
