Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the building of Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA) on the premises of German Press in Siddharthanagar here on Saturday at 12.15 p.m.
The Chief Minister, who is on a two-day visit to Mysuru, will arrive here on Saturday around 10.50 a.m. and participate in the silver jubilee celebrations of the Mysuru Police Commissionerate at 11 a.m.
He will later participate in a function organised by the Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums at Dasara Exhibition grounds at 12.45 p.m. and conduct an inspection of the Town Hall, Lansdowne Building and construction of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan.
At 3.30 p.m., the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Maharani’s Commerce and Management College building and hostel, followed by the foundation stone laying for works taken up by the Mysore City Corporation and the Mysore Urban Development Authority. He will hold a meeting with officials on the development of Mysuru district at the Government Guest House at 5.30 p.m. Mr. Siddaramaiah will leave Mysuru on Sunday.
