Powdrill has score to settle

Rob Powdrill has his first outing since pulling off Australian boxing's upset of 2014 when he faces old foe David Letizia at the WA Italian Club next month.

Wangara-based Powdrill caused a sensation when, as a late stand-in, he shattered London Olympian Damien Hooper's unbeaten record in just 21 seconds in Brisbane in November.

The fight is for the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight belt, with Powdrill keen to avenge his only loss in what will be Letizia's final bout before retirement.

Bunbury prospect Nathaniel May is also on the CDL Boxing show, which takes place on Friday, February 13.
