BHOPAL: A
brave heart girl took out a sword and came out of her room on listening to noises at her house in posh
Ansal Pradhan Enclave near Dana Pani restaurant here early on Wednesday morning.
The girl called her father and shouted that someone entered inside the house, which forced the
masked dacoits to escape. The dacoits, believed to be at least five, left the iron rods and stones they brought with them.
The case in this regard was later registered in Shahpura police station of the city. The
dacoity bid was in house of Harvinder Dheer Singh, 51, a civil contractor. His daughter, Charanpreet Kaur, 21, a second year engineering student, got up around 3 am and was revising for her examination in the morning when she realised that someone entered inside her house.
The masked men entered by breaking a door lock on ground floor of the house while the family, including Singh, his wife and two daughters were sleeping at first floor at the time of incident.
The dacoits entered the house, but could not take away anything. Charanpreet Kaur told TOI “first I thought dacoits are on first floor where we are sleeping, but by the time I came out with my sword and called my father, they got a chance to escape towards train tracks near our house”, she added.
