Actor Thakur Anoop Singh, who catapulted to fame as Dhritrashtra from Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Mahabharat, is set to enter period comic show, Akbar Birbal. The show features Kiku Sharda as Akbar and Vishal Kotiyan as Birbal. Actress Delnaaz Irani plays Kiku’s wife on the show. Confirming the news, Thakur says, “Yes, I am playing Mulla Do Pyaza, who is witty and intelligent. He is pitted against Birbal.
While Mulla speaks his mind, Birbal speaks his
heart and they both try to outshine the other.”

Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishna as Dushasana. It’s been a beautiful and long association with the production house. They are the producers of Akbar Birbal and hence, I took it up. Also, Kiku is family and I love working with him,” he replies.
