Cape Town - Siphiwe Tshabalala will extend his Kaizer Chiefs contract and will ink a new two-year deal with the Sowetan giants.

Tshabalala’s manager, Jazzman Mahlakgane, confirms that negotiations have been ongoing and everything will be finalised in the coming days.

“It is just a matter of finalising and signing, but negotiations have gone on very well,” said Mahlakgane as quoted by KickOff.

At the end of next year, Tshabalala will mark his tenth year with Chiefs since joining from Free State Stars in January 2007.

Tshabalala has been touted to leave the Naturena in the past four years following his World Cup opening goal at the FNB stadium - it now seems that the midfielder, who is 30-years-old, will end his playing days with Amakhosi.

Shabba failed to build on his 88 caps for Bafana Bafana as he missed out a chance to be included in Shakes Mashaba’s AFCON squad.
