SP Balu pays tribute to Ganesh Pathro

Earlier this week, the sudden demise of Ahuti Prasad and Ganesh Pathro sent shockwaves across Telugu film industry. SP Balu, the veteran singer, was in for a big shock when he got to know about the demise of his close friend Ganesh Pathro just moments after he paid condolences to Ahuti Prasad's family. The singer took to his official page saying, "I am in Hyderabad. My good friend Mr.Aahuthi Prasad passed away day before yesterday.Fine Actor, Gentleman to the core. Yesterday after the Swachbhaarath meet, went to his home to pay my homage, he was taken to the cremation ground, rushed there. Alas, all was over by the time I went there. My deepest sympathy to the next kith and kin. May his soul rest in peace.
As soon as I reached home, Shocked to know that Mr. Ganesh Pathro passed away. Great friend. Excellent Script writer, Actor, and lyricist. Wrote wonderful films like Mayuri, Marocharithra etc. Mr. Balachander's favourite dialogue writer. Every monday, after the telecast of Paaduthaa Theeyaga, the telugu reality show I host, will call and shower his appreciation. Couple of weeks back, he was enquiring about a particular shirt I was wearing in one of the episodes. I promised to get him one. Dear Pathroji, I owe you. Andhrapradesh owes you. Rest in peace. (sic)"
