MUMBAI: The EOW arrested three representatives of QNet, a multi-level marketing firm allegedly involved in a Rs 425-crore
fraud case.
The accused—Sayan Chatterjee, Sameer Naik and Abhinav Sharma—were produced before a court that has remanded them in
police custody till January 12. So far 15 accused have been picked up in the QNet
cheating case. More arrests may be on the cards, the police said.
“The three accused pocketed anything between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 60 lakh through the scheme over the years,” he added. The firm allegedly duped investors by offering to sell magnetic disks and herbal products.
