Nagpur reach Maharashtra Badminton League semis

Nagpur team performed well to reach the semis of the third edition of Maharashtra Badminton League at the Modern PDMBA Sports Complex in Pune.

NAGPUR: Nagpur team performed well to reach the semifinals of the third edition of Maharashtra Badminton League (MBL) at the Modern PDMBA Sports Complex, Shivaji Nagar in Pune on Sunday.
Nagpur beat Greater Mumbai and Nashik teams with an identical margin of 4-1 to book their berth in the last four.
In their inaugural tie, Nagpur had lost to hosts Pune 1-4. In the fourth league outing, Nagpur side was beaten by formidable Thane.

In their last league match on Monday, Nagpur will face strong Mumbai Suburban.
Thane won both their league matches. First Thane defeated Nagpur 4-1 and then got together to drub Greater Mumbai 5-0, while Mumbai Suburban routed Greater Mumbai 5-0.
