Northampton have bid farewell to loanees Daniel Alfei, Jordan Archer, Ryan Watson, Stewart Murdoch and Tom Newey.
Defender Alfei has returned to Swansea early from his loan at Sixfields Stadium. Alfei, who joined the Cobblers in the summer on a season-long deal, has gone back to the Liberty Stadium after all three parties agreed to cut his spell short. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Archer is now back with Tottenham and Watson's loan from Leicester has also officially expired. Murdoch has returned to Fleetwood while Newey is back with parent club Oxford.
