It is not quite like The Three Stooges when senior citizens, KD (Annu Kapoor), Laali (Anupam Kher) and Pinky (Piyush Mishra), playing keen romantics, as the title suggests, go to Mauritius to enjoy a potential last fling there.
They rent the beachfront home of self-proclaimed ‘wild child of the earth’ Aahana (Lisa Haydon), who was supposed to be away for this period. But following a fight with her boyfriend, Aahana returns home and begs the three temporary tenants to let her stay in a little corner of the house.
Of course there is immediate agreement as the three savour the thoughts of seeing the lithesome beauty on the beach in her teeny weeny bikini.
Frolicking fun follows as the three each try to woo Aahana in their own way and she plays along, despite her crush on actor Akshay Kumar, playing himself in the movie as an alcoholic and arrogant star.
He becomes embroiled in the plan unwittingly after an indiscretion, and the friendly enmity between the three old men reaches new and different heights as they not only learn but also teach some lessons to the others.
Remade from a hit film of the 1980’s, director Abhishek Sharma modernises the theme to make for an entertaining comedy.
