Two Swine Flu patients escape from hospital in hyderabad

Two swine flu patients escaped from isolated wards in different hospitals of Hyderabad on Tuesday. Veera Swamy escaped from a private hospital in Secunderabad while K Kasi of Rajahmundry escaped from the state-run Gandhi Hospital, leaving doctors worried about the possibility of their spreading the disease. Reasons for their escaping are not yet known. Swine flu special officer Dr Subhakar said, “Discontinuation of the treatment is harmful for patients and there is also the scope of spread of the disease to others.” Meanwhile, four swine flu patients from a family in Mahbubnagar district in Telangana refused to be admitted to the hospital. Posemma (60), Narasimhulu (40) and his daughters Divya (10) and Varsha (2) tested positive for the flu on Tuesday.
