Lahore- Thick fog disrupted flight operations at the Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore along with disturbing train schedules today.
Airport sources said flight operations were suspended due to mist. Traffic was also disturbed at the Mall Road, Canal Road and Gulburg today.
Motorway has been closed for all kinds of traffic and motorists have been instructed to avoid traveling altogether. However, if it is necessary to travel, they have to drive slowly and use reflectors. Meanwhile, fog-related road mishaps were reported in various towns of Punjab.
According to police and rescue officials, two people were killed and more than 30 others were injured in accidents at Okara, Kasur and Rahim Yar Khan.
