Muskaan Mihani sheds weight to return to TV

Actress Muskaan Mihani, who was last seen hosting TV show 'Safar Filmy Comedy Ka', went on a year-long break after tying the knot with Bandra-based businessman Tushal Sobhani. A travel junkie at heart, she has been busy globe-trotting since.

She says, “I travelled to Dubai, Bali, Thailand and Leh-Ladakh with my husband.” After the long break, the actress is ready to return to acting, but it required a lot of preparation and hard work.She had to knock off a few kilos she had gained post marriage. She says, “Like any other newly-wed, I took it easy. Since I was travelling to new places, I sampled the local food and hence, ended up piling on six kilos. But once I decided that it is time to come back to business, I took to yoga and started following a strict diet. Now, I am back in shape.” While she has featured in several comedy shows, the actress wishes to return with a fiction show.
“I have not done a daily soap for a long time. Though comedy shows are popular, a family drama gives you the opportunity to explore the actor within you. The characters in a serial are multi-layered, and hence, it’s more challenging to play such roles,” she concludes.
