JAMMU, Dec 28: Uday Bhanu Chib has been appointed as the national secretary of NSUI, the student wing of Congress party.
The appointment was made by Rahul Gandhi on the recommendations of Girish Chodankar, AICC incharge of NSUI and Roji M John, national president of NSUI.
Uday Bhanu Chib is an Engineering graduate from Pune University and an MBA from Arni University Himachal Pradesh. He hails from Paloura in Jammu and has a political background as his father Er Hari Singh Chib is a senior Congress leader and mother Rajni Bala, a Corporator in Jammu Municipal Corporation.
In 2011, he was elected as State president of NSUI in J&K.
