Oxford OPP are investigating after a lone male entered a Princeton store, carrying a knife and demanding money Saturday night.
They say the suspect walked into Princeton Variety around 9 p.m., brandishing the knife and threatening an employee. The employee then chased the suspect out the door as he fled on foot.
The canine unit and emergency response team were searching for the suspect. Forensic identification officers attended to examine the scene.
Police say the suspect is a white male, 19 to 30 years, with a slim build, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9.
He was wearing one piece blue overalls with grey at the chest and shoulders, a dark open face balaclava, dark shoes and a black back pack.
