Iran-Italy trade amounts to USD217.98m in October


(MENAFN) According to the EU statistics agency (Eurostat), the trade value of the Iranian-Italian bilateral trade amounted to USD217.98 million in October 2014, Tehran Times reported.

The figures manifested an increase of 95 percent, rising from USD111.3 million registered in the same month last year, the Eurostat released data showed.

Iran exported USD79.15 million worth of products to Italy, up 8 percent compared to USD10.22 million on-year, while Iran's value of imports from Italy stood at USD138.82 million, up 37 percent.

Italy was the 19th leading importer of Iranian non-oil goods and the 7th leading exporter of goods to Iran in the previous Iranian year ended March 20, 2014, the Iran Custom Administration said.
