A man’s body was found floating in the Bronx River early Saturday, police said.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was discovered near Edgewater Road and the Bruckner Expressway around 9:50 a.m. in Hunts Point, police said.
Police sources said he was wearing a backpack that had a large rock inside.
The man has not yet been identified and the Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
