‘Dead’ Bihar woman found alive in city

A woman, who was allegedly murdered by her father-in-law at a village in Bihar, was found living under a different identity with her male friend at a rented house in northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura area.

NEW DELHI: A woman, who was allegedly murdered by her father-in-law at a village in Bihar, was found living under a different identity with her male friend at a rented house in northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura area. Police have detained the duo and will hand them over to Bihar Police.
Police said Zeba Khan was married to Sheikh Jalal in 2006 and has four children.
Earlier this month, Khan was found missing from her house after which her father registered a murder case against her father-in-law. He was arrested and sent to jail.
Later, cops came to know of the involvement a neighbour called Mohd Irshad who was also missing. Bihar police later traced him to Delhi and found him living in a house with Zeba.
