Actress Kajal Aggarwal has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India for a new ad that highlights the deplorable conditions the animals in circuses live in.

Actress Kajal Aggarwal has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India for a new ad that highlights the deplorable conditions the animals in circuses live in.
In the ad, Aggarwal is spiked by an ankus, a weapon resembling a fireplace poker with a sharp metal hook on one end, and has a fresh cut on her face. With this image, she appeals to everyone to try and relate to the sufferings of animals in circuses.

“As an actor, I perform out of choice. But animals are not given a choice in circuses. They are tortured with all sorts of tools and made to perform,“ the Special 26 actress said.)
