I'm playing lead opposite Ravi Teja: Raashi

The cast of Ravi Teja, Tamannaah starrer Bengal Tiger, to be directed by Sampath Nandi, has a new addition, actress Raashi Khanna. ���I am playing the parallel lead, along with Tamannaah, opposite Ravi Teja,��� clarifies the actress, who confesses that, at one point of time, she asked so many questions about her role that it was a surprise to people close to her.
���I was in talks for the film for a while and I took my own time to make up my mind.Some of my friends kept asking me why I was taking so much time to sign a commercial film. I wasn���t sure if I should be doing a second lead in the film. But once Sampath Nandi narrated the script, all my doubts were cleared. The moment an actress like me, who has done a couple of films, comes into the picture, people assume it would be second fiddle role; however, that���s not the case with this film,��� says the actress. While this film is likely to go on floors in April next year, Raashi is excited about her upcoming Telugu film, in which she���s paired opposite Gopichand. ���I am playing the role of a young girl, who���s happy at the same time and has a great sense of fun.
I just couldn���t relate to the character I was playing as my sense of fun is different. I admire director Radhakrishna for making me part of the creative process before finalising shoots,��� she says, adding, ���I���m yet to shoot for the songs and I���ve been told that Raju Sundaram makes you work hard. I���m dreading what���s in store for me now (laughs).���
