Schwimmer cast as Kardashian

David Schwimmer will portray play the Kardashian family patriarch in a new OJ Simpson television series.

The former Friends star will portray Kim Kardashian's late father Robert in a new OJ Simpson trial series.

Robert Kardashian was Simpson's friend and lawyer in his trial for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman.

The drama will be called American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson.

Robert Kardashian died of cancer in 2003, aged 59.

Cuba Gooding, Jr has been cast as Simpson while Sarah Paulson will be playing prosecutor Marcia Clark.
