Chelsea got off to a stellar start against Stoke Monday after John Terry scored in just the 2nd minute, and the Potters were very fortunate not to go down to 10 men after Phil Bardsley was shown a yellow card for a horrible challenge on Chelsea’s Eden Hazard. With the ball just about to go over the sideline, Bardsley slid into Hazard and kicked the Belgian’s legs, sending him flipping into the grass.

Bardsley was a step slow to make a real challenge for the ball, and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was furious.
