Value At Risk will aim to confirm the huge impression he created at Newbury when he runs at Cheltenham next month.
The Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle on January 24 has been pinpointed by trainer Dan Skelton as the next port of call for the former Philip Fenton inmate.
A 22-length winner on his hurdling debut last week, at this stage of his career the sky really is the limit.
"There's a Grade Two over two and a half miles for him at Cheltenham on Trials Day," said Skelton. "He was frighteningly good at Newbury and it's my job to look after him.
"What we do after Cheltenham in January has yet to be decided. He's going chasing next year and that was always going to be his job.
"The Festival is not the be-all and end-all this season as we want to be going there with him as a novice chaser. But, saying that, it's unlikely to slip under our radar, either."
Value At Risk is a 10/1 chance with Sky Bet for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.
