Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori won the grand prize at the annual Japan Pro Sports Awards on Monday.
The 24-year-old Nishikori was the first Japanese man to reach a Grand Slam singles final as he finished as runner-up at the U.S. Open and competed at the season-ending Tour Finals in 2014.
"This was a fulfilling year," said the current world No. 5. "I want to do my best so I can return to more Grand Slam finals next year." Endi
